Kids' Table & Chair Rentals in West Hempstead, Garden City & Rockville Centre, NY
West Hempstead, Garden City and Rockville Centre sit right in the middle of Nassau County, and November into December is when their dining rooms fill up: Thanksgiving first, then eight nights of Hanukkah, then the winter birthdays that move inside. Here is how central Nassau families give the youngest guests a table and chairs their own size.
Many of our recent Long Island quotes come from this part of Nassau, and the towns sit close enough together that a West Hempstead delivery and a Rockville Centre delivery often share the same morning. Whether you are hosting Thanksgiving for three generations in Garden City, a Hanukkah candle lighting for the cousins in West Hempstead or a first birthday in a Rockville Centre apartment in January, the children are the part of the guest list that needs a plan, because a five-year-old on a grown-up dining chair is a five-year-old eating with her plate at shoulder height.
That is the one thing we do. We rent kid-height tables, children's chairs, high chairs and dessert carts, and we deliver them, set them up before your guests arrive and pick them up afterward. If you already know the date, you can hold your date now and send the guest count later. We're not the party planners — we rent the kids' tables, chairs and dessert carts. Place settings, decor and food come from your family or your planner.
Where we deliver in central Nassau
West Hempstead, Garden City and Garden City South, Rockville Centre, Franklin Square, Malverne, Lynbrook, East Rockaway, the village of Hempstead and Baldwin, plus the neighboring streets on the same routes. The whole island is on our Long Island kids' party rentals page; this guide is the closer look at the middle of Nassau. Just south and east, the Five Towns guide and the Merrick, Bellmore & Massapequa guide cover the South Shore; to the north, see the Great Neck, Manhasset & Roslyn guide.
Homes, backyards, basements and party rooms
Most of what we set in these towns is at home, and the room decides the layout:
- A center-hall dining room. A low kids' table at the far end of the room keeps the children in sight of the grown-up table without putting them underfoot.
- A finished basement. Two tables in an L or a U-shape seat fifteen to twenty children and leave the middle of the floor open for games, with a dessert cart at the foot of the stairs.
- A backyard. Through mid-fall, a long table on the lawn or the patio works for a daytime birthday; tell us about steps, gates and the path from the driveway.
- An apartment or a party room. Tell us about the elevator, the loading entrance and any delivery hours. Many buildings and rented rooms ask for a certificate of insurance; we provide one, and processing commonly takes five to ten business days, so ask for the requirements the day you book. Our delivery and setup checklist lists what to measure first.
Hanukkah kids' tables in Nassau County
Hanukkah 2026 begins the evening of Friday, December 4 and runs through Saturday, December 12. For a lot of families that means one big night — the cousins' candle lighting, the latke night, the gift swap — when twelve children arrive at once and the dining table is already full of grown-ups. Give them their own table: a long kids' table beside the menorah, clear Ghost Chairs or white Classic Chairs for a blue-and-white table, and a dessert cart for the sufganiyot and the gelt.
We can set the table for one evening or leave it in place for several nights at the same address. Code HOLIDAY10 takes 10% off from December 1 through January 5. The Hanukkah kids' party rentals page has more on a cousins' night, and the Long Island page covers the rest of the island. December weekends book first, so a date hold now keeps your night while the guest list settles.
Thanksgiving kids' tables
Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 26. We deliver and set up before the holiday and pick up after the long weekend, so one delivery also covers a Friendsgiving, the Friday leftovers or the Saturday cousins' visit at the same address.
- Four to six children per table is the sweet spot for a sit-down meal; two smaller tables often fit a dining room better than one long one.
- The littlest cousins do best at a lower table of their own, next to a parent. The toddler table and chairs are sized for ages one to three, and the youngest guest gets the Isabella rattan high chair, so she sits at the same height as everyone else.
- Book early. The days just before Thanksgiving fill up first. Code THANKS10 takes 10% off through November 30, and Hold My Date keeps the day while you finish the guest list.
The Thanksgiving kids' table rental page covers delivery times, and our big-family Thanksgiving seating plan works out how many tables you need by age.
What you can rent
- Kid-height tables — the Mini Scalloped Oval Table, the Serpentine Table, the Modern White Kids Table, the Farm Mini Table and the Daisy Table. Tables can be customized on request to match a color or a theme.
- Children's chairs — the white Classic Chair, the Bow Metal Chair, clear Ghost Chairs, the natural-wood Cross Back Chair, the Mini Bistro Chair, the Amelia chair in the photo above and our rattan kids' chairs: the Bow, Round, Loop and Rainbow chairs.
- High chairs — the Isabella rattan high chair. The first birthday party rentals page walks through the high chair, the low table and the photo corner.
- Dessert carts — a kids' dessert cart for the pies, the cupcakes or the sufganiyot you or your planner bring.
Every collection is on the main kids' table and chair rentals page.
How booking works
- Tell us the date, the town and the number of children. A quick quote request is enough to start.
- Choose the tables and chairs. A table sized to your room, chairs that suit your colors, and a high chair or a dessert cart if you want one.
- We deliver and set up before your guests arrive — house, apartment, basement or party room.
- We pick everything up afterward; for Thanksgiving, after the long weekend.
Not sure how many chairs? Count the children who will sit — usually ages one to ten — and add two for the cousins nobody counted. Our how many kids' chairs and tables guide has the full method.

Yes. Hanukkah 2026 begins the evening of Friday, December 4 and runs through Saturday, December 12. We can set a kids' table for one night of candle lighting and latkes, or leave it in place for several nights at the same address. Code HOLIDAY10 takes 10% off from December 1 through January 5.

Do you decorate or style the party?
No. We're not the party planners. We rent the kids' tables, chairs, high chairs and dessert carts, and we deliver, set them up and pick them up. Place settings, decor and food come from your family or your planner.
