Thanksgiving & Friendsgiving Kids' Table Rental in NJ & NY
The kids' table, done beautifully. Real child-height tables and chairs, delivered before Thanksgiving and picked up after the long weekend, so the only thing you set is the table itself.
Most Thanksgiving kids' tables are a card table in a doorway, a plastic cloth, and four children on dining chairs so tall their chins are level with their plates. Nobody enjoys it, and an adult gets up every twenty minutes to referee. Renting a real kids' table fixes the part you can't fix with decorations: the scale. At child height, children serve themselves, get down and back up without help, and stop leaning on the table for leverage — which is what knocks the cider over.
We rent the kids' tables and chairs (and a high chair for the baby) for Thanksgiving at home, in an apartment or at a family venue across NJ and NY. We deliver, set up and pick up. We're not the party planners — we rent the kids' tables, chairs and dessert carts; you set the table your way. Send your guest count through Get a Quote.
Hosting a Friendsgiving with kids this year as well? The same child-height tables, little chairs and a high chair work for that table too — and if it falls on the Thanksgiving long weekend at the same address, one delivery covers both. Code THANKS10 takes 10% off through November 30.
Delivered before, picked up after
Thanksgiving falls on Thursday, November 26 this year. We deliver and set up before the holiday so you can style the table the night before, and we come back after the long weekend — which means the same table works for Friday leftovers, the Saturday cousins' visit, and a quiet Sunday puzzle. Nothing to fold, carry or store in the garage.
If you're hosting, send your date and address early — the days just before the holiday fill up first.
Book the Thanksgiving kids' table before November
Thanksgiving plans start the moment Halloween is over, and the days just before the holiday are the first to fill on our calendar. If you already know you're hosting, send the date now — or use Hold My Date to set it aside while we finalize the quote. Because the table stays through the long weekend, it also covers a Friendsgiving with the kids or the Saturday cousins' visit without a second delivery.
Friendsgiving with kids: give the little guests their own table
A Friendsgiving with kids is a different dinner from the family one: more households, more children who don't know each other yet, and usually less room. A real kids' table solves the seating before anyone sits down. Plan tables of four to six, put the toddlers at a low table near their parents, and pull a high chair up for the baby so every child has a place at the same height.
- Same weekend, one delivery. We deliver before Thanksgiving and pick up after the long weekend, so a Friday or Saturday Friendsgiving at the same address uses the same kids' table and chairs.
- A different weekend? Send that date too — it's a separate delivery, and the weekends before the holiday fill first. Hold My Date sets it aside while we finalize the quote.
- The littlest guests. Our toddler tables and chairs are sized for ages 1 to 3, and the Isabella rattan high chair keeps the baby at the table.
- Something to do at every seat. “I'm thankful for” placemats or paper turkey place cards keep them busy while the grown-ups carve.
We deliver Thanksgiving and Friendsgiving kids' tables across NJ & NY — from Monmouth County and Morristown and Morris County to Brooklyn and Long Island. For a big family, our Thanksgiving seating plan does the math table by table. We're not the party planners — we rent the kids' tables, chairs, high chairs and dessert carts; the place settings and fall styling are yours.
Seating math for a family Thanksgiving
Count only the children who will actually sit — roughly ages two to ten. Babies usually sit with a parent or in a high chair; older kids often drift to the adult table. Then:
- Plan tables of four to six. Two small tables beat one long one — children at a long table shout across it.
- Add one or two spare chairs. There is always a cousin nobody mentioned, and an empty seat is better than a missing one.
- Seat by age, loosely. Toddlers together near a parent; the six-to-ten crowd at their own table, where they'll happily run the conversation.
- Leave a walkway. Keep the kids' tables out of the lane between the kitchen and the dining room — someone will carry a hot dish through it a dozen times.
Nine cousins, for example, fit neatly at two tables: five at our hand-painted Daisy Table (36 inches wide, it seats five) and four at a second table, with a high chair pulled up for the baby. For bigger families, our guide to how many kids' chairs and tables you need has the full numbers.
Fall palette styling ideas
Autumn is the most forgiving palette of the year: almost nothing clashes. Three directions that photograph well:
- Harvest natural. Rattan chairs, a kraft-paper runner the children can draw on, mini pumpkins and clementines down the middle. Our mini pumpkin place cards handle the centerpiece and the seating plan in one go.
- Rust and cream. A cream linen with rust napkins and ochre accents, and a strand of the fall leaf garland along the table edge or the window behind it.
- Deep green and gold. A little more formal, matching an adult table set with good china. Gold-rimmed paper plates and a simple eucalyptus runner keep it unbreakable.
Whichever you choose: nothing glass, nothing lit. Real candles and tall vases belong on the adult table.
Keep them at the table
Seat them last, just before the food comes out, rather than first. Put something to do at every place — coloring placemats are the simplest — and serve their plates a few minutes ahead of the adults so they're eating while everyone else sits down. Pie can wait for the grown-ups; a small dessert at the kids' table buys a lot of goodwill.
More detail on table placement and what to feed them is in our Thanksgiving kids' table guide.

Frequently asked questions
When do you deliver and pick up for Thanksgiving?
We deliver and set up before Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 26, 2026) and pick up after the holiday weekend, so the table is there for leftovers and weekend visitors too. The days just before the holiday fill up first, so send your date as soon as you can.
How many kids fit at a kids' table?
Plan on four to six children per table. Our Daisy Table is 36 inches wide and seats five. Two smaller tables usually work better than one long one, and it's worth adding a spare chair or two.
Can you provide a high chair for the baby?
Ask us when you request your quote. We carry a rattan high chair, the Isabella, so the youngest guest can sit at the same height as everyone else.
Will the chairs work on carpet or in a small dining room?
Yes. Kids' tables and chairs have a much smaller footprint than adult furniture, and we set them up on carpet, hardwood or tile. Tell us the room size and we'll suggest a layout that leaves a clear walkway.
Is there a discount for Thanksgiving bookings?
Book by November 30 with code THANKS10 for 10% off your Thanksgiving kids’ table, or use HOLIDAY10 for 10% off from December 1 through January 5. Mention your code on the quote form.
Can I hold my Thanksgiving date before the quote is final?
Yes. Hold My Date sets your date aside while we finalize your quote, and the hold is credited toward your rental.
Can we keep the kids' table for a Friendsgiving the same weekend?
Yes. We deliver before Thanksgiving and pick up after the long weekend, so the same kids' table and chairs work for Friday leftovers, a Friendsgiving or the Saturday cousins' visit.
Do you set the table or decorate?
No. We're not the party planners — we rent the kids' tables, chairs and dessert carts and set up the furniture. The place settings and fall styling are yours, and our DIY guides have easy ideas.
How do I set up a kids' table for a Friendsgiving with kids?
Plan tables of four to six children, seat the toddlers at a low table near their parents and add a high chair for the baby. Send your guest count and the ages through the quote form; we deliver and set up the kids' tables and chairs, and you set the table your way.
Do you have toddler-size tables for the littlest cousins?
Yes. Our toddler tables and chairs are sized for ages 1 to 3, with tables about 15 inches tall and seats about 7 inches off the floor, and they can sit beside a regular kids' table at Thanksgiving.
