Kids' Table & Chair Rentals in Port Washington, Syosset & Jericho, NY
From the harbor in Port Washington to the estates of Old Westbury and the family streets of Syosset and Jericho, the North Shore hosts its holidays at home, and it hosts them well. Here is how families here give the youngest guests a designer kids' table and chairs their own size this Thanksgiving and Hanukkah.
Mini Chairs Atelier is a boutique kids' party rental studio. We rent designer kid-height tables, children's chairs, high chairs and dessert carts, and we deliver them, set them up before your guests arrive and pick them up afterward, across New Jersey and New York. We're not the party planners — we rent the kids' tables, chairs and dessert carts. Place settings, florals, decor and food come from your family or your planner, and our pieces are made to sit beautifully beside them.

Where we deliver: Port Washington to Jericho
Port Washington, Sands Point, Manorhaven and Port Washington North on the harbor; Old Westbury, Old Brookville, Brookville and Muttontown in the estate country; and Syosset, Woodbury, Jericho, Plainview and Oyster Bay a little further east. One delivery day on our Long Island route often covers several of these towns together. The whole island is on our Long Island kids' party rentals page. Hosting closer to the city line? Great Neck, Manhasset and Roslyn have their own North Shore guide, and Huntington, Dix Hills and Melville are in the western Suffolk guide.
We set up in houses, finished basements, pool houses, clubs and venues. A long gravel drive, a side entrance or a gate code is no trouble; tell us when you book and the tables and chairs are in place before the first guest arrives.
The designer pieces first
On the North Shore the kids' table is usually seen, photographed and talked about, so it should look like it belongs in the room. These are the pieces families here ask for first:
- The Daisy Table — hand-painted by our family, with a buttercream yellow daisy top, white trim and a fluted pedestal base. It is 36 inches wide, seats five, and we have only two, so it books early. Custom colors on request.
- Rattan chairs — the Daisy Rattan Chair in the photo above, plus the Bow, Rainbow, Loop and Round chairs in natural woven cane. Warm next to wood floors and a holiday table; see the rattan kids' chair rental page.
- Clear Ghost Chairs — acrylic, so they disappear in a formal dining room and let the table setting do the talking. Other colors on request.
- Kid-height tables — the Mini Scalloped Oval Table (75 by 30 inches, customizable in any color), the Serpentine Table, the Farm Mini Table and the Modern White Kids Table. Tables can be customized on request to match your palette.
- More chairs — the Cross Back Chair in natural wood, the white Classic Chair, the pink Bow Metal Chair and the lavender Mini Bistro Chair.
- For the littlest guest and the sweets — the Isabella rattan high chair, so the baby sits at the same height as everyone else, and a kids' dessert cart for the pies, cookies or latkes you or your planner bring.
Thanksgiving on the North Shore: Thursday, November 26
In a house full of cousins, the kids' table is what lets the grown-up table stay a grown-up table. Plan four to six children per table, add two spare chairs, and give the toddlers their own lower table next to a parent with a high chair for the baby. We deliver and set up before the holiday and pick up after the long weekend, so one delivery also covers a Friendsgiving on Saturday, November 21 if you host both, or the Friday cousins' lunch at the same address.
- A formal dining room. Set the kids' table at the far end of the room, in sight of the grown-up table, with Ghost or Classic chairs so it reads as part of the same setting.
- An open kitchen and family room. A kids' table near the island keeps refills and spills close to a parent.
- A big family. Two tables split by age work better than one long one: the little ones together, the eight-to-ten-year-olds together.
Our big-family Thanksgiving seating plan works out how many tables you need by age, the Thanksgiving kids' table rental page covers delivery timing, and hosting friends too? See Friendsgiving kids' table rentals. Book your Thanksgiving kids' table with code THANKS10 for 10% off through November 30.
Hanukkah begins Friday, December 4
Hanukkah begins the evening of Friday, December 4, and the candle-lighting nights fill North Shore living rooms with cousins. A kid-height table in the living room or the finished basement gives the children a place for latkes, dreidel and doughnuts that is theirs, while the grown-ups gather around the menorah. Four to six children per table works here too; a dessert cart at the side keeps the sufganiyot within reach and off the floor.
The Hanukkah kids' party rentals page covers the eight nights, and our Hanukkah kids' table ideas has blue-and-white table ideas your family or planner can style. Code HOLIDAY10 takes 10% off from December 1 to January 5.
How booking works
- Tell us the date, the town and the number of children. A quick quote request is enough to start.
- Choose the pieces. A table sized to your room, chairs that suit your palette, a high chair or a dessert cart if you want one. Custom colors take a little more time, so ask early.
- We deliver and set up before your guests arrive — house, basement, club or venue.
- We pick everything up afterward; for Thanksgiving, after the long weekend.
The days just before Thanksgiving and the Hanukkah weekends book first. If your date is one of them, hold your date now and send the guest count later. Our delivery and setup checklist lists what to measure before the day, and the how many kids' chairs and tables guide does the math for bigger parties. Every piece is on the main kids' table and chair rentals page.
Frequently asked questions
Do you deliver kids' tables and chairs to Port Washington, Syosset and Jericho?
Yes. We deliver, set up and pick up kid-height tables, children's chairs, high chairs and dessert carts in Port Washington, Sands Point, Manorhaven, Old Westbury, Old Brookville, Brookville, Muttontown, Syosset, Woodbury, Jericho, Plainview and Oyster Bay, and across the rest of Nassau and Suffolk.
When do you deliver and pick up for Thanksgiving?
We deliver and set up before Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 26, and pick up after the holiday weekend, so the same kids' table and chairs also cover a Friendsgiving or the Saturday cousins' visit at the same address. The days just before the holiday book first, so send your date early.
How many children fit at one kids' table?
Plan four to six children per table for a holiday meal, and add two spare chairs for the cousins nobody counted. The Daisy Table seats five; the Mini Scalloped Oval Table is 75 by 30 inches and takes a longer row. Toddlers do best at their own lower table next to a parent.
Can the table match our colors?
Yes. Our tables can be customized on request in any color or size to match the room or the theme, and most of our chairs come in other colors on request. Tell us your palette when you ask for a quote and we'll suggest the pieces that suit it.
Can you deliver to a club, a venue or a gated property?
Yes. Tell us about the gate, the driveway, the entrance we should use and any load-in hours. Clubs and venues often ask for a certificate of insurance naming them as additional insured; we provide one, and processing commonly takes five to ten business days, so ask for the venue's requirements the day you book.
Do you decorate or style the party?
No. We're not the party planners. We rent the kids' tables, chairs, high chairs and dessert carts, and we deliver, set them up and pick them up. Place settings, florals, decor and food come from your family or your planner.
