Friendsgiving Kids' Table & Chair Rentals in New Jersey & New York
Four families, eleven kids, one apartment. A Friendsgiving with kids needs a table their size more than it needs another centerpiece, and we bring it, set it up and take it away after.
Friendsgiving is the loosest dinner of the season and the hardest one to seat. The guest list is friends, not family, so the children often don't know each other yet. Everyone brings a dish, nobody owns enough chairs, and the grown-ups want to linger over the second bottle of wine while the kids want down from a table built for adults.
We rent the kids' tables and chairs that fix that: child-height tables, little chairs, a toddler table and a high chair, delivered and set up before your guests arrive anywhere in NJ and NY, and picked up afterwards. We're not the party planners — we rent the kids' tables, chairs and dessert carts; the food, place settings and fall styling are yours.

Why the kids get their own table at Friendsgiving
At a family Thanksgiving the cousins already know the routine. At a Friendsgiving the children may be meeting for the first time, and nothing breaks the ice faster than sitting together at a table that fits them. Feet reach the floor, elbows reach the table, and they can serve themselves and get down to play without an adult lifting anyone.
- The grown-ups get to stay at the table. When the children have their own seats nearby, dinner can run long without anyone refereeing a dining chair.
- Mixed ages, one place. A kids' table, a low toddler table and a high chair side by side means every child from one to ten has a seat at the right height.
- Fewer spills. Children at adult height lean on the table to climb up, and that is what tips the cider. At child height they don't need to.
The Friendsgiving weekends of 2026
Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 26 this year, so most Friendsgivings fall on the two weekends before it, with a few on the Saturday after.
| Weekend | What to know |
|---|---|
| Sat–Sun, Nov 14–15 | The first Friendsgiving weekend. Saturdays book first, so send the date now. |
| Sat–Sun, Nov 21–22 | The busiest one: the weekend right before Thanksgiving week. |
| Sat, Nov 28 | The Saturday after Thanksgiving. If you also host Thanksgiving at the same address, the same delivery can cover both. |
Not sure of the final head count yet? Hold My Date sets your date aside while we finalize the quote, and the hold is credited toward your rental.
How many kids per table?
Count the children who will actually sit, roughly ages two to ten, then plan four to six per table. Two small tables beat one long one, because children at a long table shout to the far end. Add two spare chairs: at a Friendsgiving someone always brings a neighbor's child or a visiting cousin.
A real example: four families with eleven children between them. That's five at the Daisy Table, four at a Modern White Kids Table, a toddler table for the two-year-olds near their parents, and the Isabella rattan high chair for the baby. For a bigger crowd, our big-family Thanksgiving seating plan does the same math table by table, and it works just as well for friends.
Apartment, finished basement or backyard patio
Friendsgiving is often hosted by the friend with the space, not the biggest dining room. Kids' furniture has a small footprint, and we set it up wherever the party is:
- Apartments. Tell us about elevators, stairs and any building rules when you book. If your building needs a certificate of insurance or a freight-elevator time, mention it on the quote form so it's arranged before the day.
- Finished basements and playrooms. A favorite at Friendsgiving: the children eat and play in one room while the grown-ups stay upstairs. Measure the stairway turn and we'll bring pieces that fit.
- Living rooms. Push the coffee table aside and a 36-inch Daisy Table with five chairs fits in the space it leaves.
- Backyard patios. Mid-November in NJ and NY can still be mild at lunchtime. Our chairs work on a patio or deck; keep a rain or cold-weather plan to move the kids' table inside.
The pieces we rent for Friendsgiving
Mix and match: every table works with every chair, and most pieces come in other colors on request.
- Tables: the hand-painted Daisy Table (seats five), the Modern White Kids Table on thin hairpin legs, the long Mini Scalloped Oval Table for a bigger group, and the natural-wood Farm Mini Table for a harvest look.
- Chairs: clear Ghost Chairs, white Classic Chairs, natural wood Cross Back Chairs, the pink Bow Metal Chair, the Sophia Chair in red, sage, light pink or white, and our rattan Bow, Round and Loop Chairs.
- For the littlest guests: toddler tables and chairs for ages 1 to 3, and the Isabella rattan high chair.
- For the pies: a kids' dessert cart to roll out after dinner.
Delivery, setup and pickup
We deliver and set up the kids' tables and chairs before your guests arrive, so you can set the table the way you like, and we come back afterwards to pick everything up. Nothing to fold, carry or store. If you're hosting Thanksgiving at the same address as well, see our Thanksgiving kids' table rental: we deliver before Thanksgiving and pick up after the holiday weekend, so a Friday or Saturday Friendsgiving can use the same table.
We deliver across New Jersey and New York, from Ocean, Middlesex and Union counties to Long Island. Planning ahead for the next holiday too? Our Hanukkah kids' party rentals start the first week of December.
Book with code THANKS10 for 10% off your Friendsgiving kids' table through November 30, or use HOLIDAY10 for 10% off from December 1 through January 5. Mention your code on the quote form.
Frequently asked questions
Which weekends are Friendsgiving weekends this year?
Most Friendsgivings land on the two weekends before Thanksgiving, Saturday and Sunday November 14–15 and November 21–22, plus Saturday November 28 after the holiday. Those Saturdays fill first, so send your date early or use Hold My Date while we finalize the quote.
How many kids fit at one kids' table?
Plan on four to six children per table. Our Daisy Table is 36 inches wide and seats five, and two smaller tables usually work better than one long one. Add one or two spare chairs for the friend who brings a cousin.
Do you have a high chair and toddler-size table for the youngest guests?
Yes. Our toddler tables and chairs are sized for ages 1 to 3, and the Isabella rattan high chair keeps the baby at the table with everyone else. Tell us the ages on the quote form and we'll suggest the mix.
We're hosting Thanksgiving too. Can one delivery cover both?
If both dinners are at the same address on the Thanksgiving long weekend, yes: we deliver before Thanksgiving and pick up after the holiday weekend, so the same kids' table works for both. A Friendsgiving on an earlier weekend is a separate delivery.
Do you decorate or set the Friendsgiving table?
No. We're not the party planners — we rent the kids' tables, chairs, high chairs and dessert carts, and we deliver, set up and pick up the furniture. The place settings, food and fall styling are yours.
Is there a discount for Friendsgiving bookings?
Yes. Code THANKS10 takes 10% off through November 30, which covers every Friendsgiving weekend this year. Mention it on the quote form.
