Kids' Table & Chair Rentals in Huntington, Dix Hills & Melville, NY
Huntington, Dix Hills and Melville are about to host their two biggest family weeks of the year back to back: Thanksgiving at the end of November, then Hanukkah with the cousins a week later. Here is how western Suffolk families give the youngest guests a table and chairs their own size, set up before anyone arrives.
Huntington sits where Nassau turns into Suffolk, and one delivery day out to the North Shore of western Suffolk often covers Huntington village, Dix Hills and Melville together. Whether you are hosting Thanksgiving for three generations, the first night of Hanukkah with a room full of cousins, or a January birthday in the basement, the children are the part of the guest list that needs a plan, because a four-year-old on a grown-up dining chair eats with her plate at shoulder height.
That is the one thing we do. We rent kid-height tables, children's chairs, high chairs and dessert carts, and we deliver them, set them up before your guests arrive and pick them up afterward. If you already know the date, you can hold your date now and send the guest count later. We're not the party planners — we rent the kids' tables, chairs and dessert carts. Place settings, decor and food come from your family or your planner.
Where we deliver around Huntington
Huntington village and Huntington Station, Dix Hills, Melville, Cold Spring Harbor and Lloyd Harbor, Greenlawn, Centerport, Northport and East Northport, Elwood and Commack. The whole island is on our Long Island kids' party rentals page; this guide is the closer look at Huntington and western Suffolk. Hosting in Nassau instead? See the Great Neck, Manhasset & Roslyn guide for the North Shore or the Merrick, Bellmore & Massapequa guide for the South Shore.
We set up in houses, finished basements, apartments and venues. Around Huntington that usually means a colonial or a split-level with a long dining room, or a Dix Hills house with a big open kitchen and family room; wherever it is, the furniture is in place before the first guest rings the bell.
Thanksgiving and Hanukkah kids' tables in Huntington
Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 26. In a house full of cousins, the kids' table is what lets the grown-up table stay a grown-up table. We deliver and set up before the holiday and pick up after the long weekend, so one delivery also covers the Friday leftovers and the Saturday visit at the same address. The Thanksgiving kids' table rental page covers delivery times and what to ask for.
Hanukkah begins the evening of Friday, December 4, and ends Saturday, December 12. Sunday, December 6 is the most popular party date of the eight nights, so it books first. Because the first candle falls on a Friday night, families who keep Shabbat should write the delivery and pickup windows that work for them in the notes on the quote form, and we plan around them. The Hanukkah kids' party rentals page has ideas for a cousins' night at the kids' table.
- Colors for the season. Most of our tables can be painted on request to match a theme, such as blue and white for Hanukkah or warm neutrals for Thanksgiving, and the Ghost Chairs in the photo come clear or in other colors on request. Ask early; custom colors need lead time.
- The littlest cousins. Toddlers do best at their own lower table next to a parent, and the baby gets the Isabella rattan high chair, so she sits at the same height as everyone else. The toddler table and chairs page has the sizes for ages one to three.
- Two holidays, one plan. If you host both, tell us both dates in one quote request so we can plan the two deliveries together.
Book a Thanksgiving kids' table with code THANKS10 for 10% off through November 30; from December 1 through January 5, code HOLIDAY10 takes 10% off Hanukkah and other holiday parties.
Indoor winter birthdays after the clocks go back
The clocks go back on Sunday, November 1, and by four o'clock it is dark, so Huntington birthdays move inside until spring. The room sets the plan. One long kids' table along the longest wall seats eight to ten children and leaves the middle of a living room free for games. A finished basement takes two tables in an L or a U-shape for fifteen to twenty children, with a dessert cart at the foot of the stairs. Our indoor winter birthday party ideas guide has room-by-room layouts.
Planning a first birthday this winter? The first birthday party rentals page walks through the high chair, the low table and the photo corner. Measuring a narrow staircase or a basement door? Our delivery and setup checklist lists what to check before the day.
What you can rent
- Kid-height tables — the Mini Scalloped Oval Table, the Serpentine Table, the Modern White Kids Table, the Farm Mini Table and the Daisy Table.
- Children's chairs — clear or colored Ghost Chairs, the Bow Metal Chair, the white Classic Chair, the natural-wood Cross Back Chair, the Mini Bistro Chair, the Sophia chair and the rattan collection: the Bow, Rainbow, Loop and Round chairs.
- High chairs — the Isabella rattan high chair for the youngest guest.
- Dessert carts — a kids' dessert cart for the pies, the sufganiyot or the cocoa you or your planner bring.
The main kids' table and chair rentals page has every collection in one place.
How many chairs to book
Count the children who will sit — usually ages one to ten — and add two extra seats for the cousins nobody counted. Up to about ten children fit at one long kids' table; ten to twenty work well in a row or a U-shape; above twenty, split the tables by age so the toddlers are not seated next to the ten-year-olds. Our big-family Thanksgiving seating plan works it out table by table.
How booking works
- Tell us the date, the town and the number of children. A quick quote request is enough to start.
- Choose the tables and chairs. A table sized to your room, the chairs that suit your colors, a high chair or a dessert cart if you want one.
- We deliver and set up before your guests arrive — house, basement, apartment or venue.
- We pick everything up afterward; for Thanksgiving, after the long weekend.
The days just before Thanksgiving and the Hanukkah weekend book first. If your date is one of them, a date hold keeps it while you finish the guest list — the hold is credited toward the rental.
Frequently asked questions
Do you deliver kids' tables and chairs to Huntington, Dix Hills and Melville?
Yes. We deliver, set up and pick up kid-height tables, children's chairs, high chairs and dessert carts in Huntington, Huntington Station, Dix Hills, Melville, Cold Spring Harbor, Greenlawn, Centerport, Northport, East Northport, Elwood, Commack and the rest of western Suffolk County. Send your town with the quote request and we'll confirm the delivery details for your address.
When do you deliver and pick up for Thanksgiving?
We deliver and set up before Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 26, and pick up after the long weekend, so the same kids' table and chairs also work for Friday leftovers or a Saturday cousins' visit at the same address. The days just before the holiday fill up first, so send your date early.
Can you work around Shabbat for a Hanukkah party?
Yes, tell us. Hanukkah 2026 begins the evening of Friday, December 4, so the first night falls on Shabbat. If your family keeps Shabbat, write the delivery and pickup windows that work for you in the notes on the quote form, and we'll plan around them. Sunday, December 6 is the most popular Hanukkah party date, so it books first.
Do you have a high chair and toddler-size tables?
Yes. The Isabella rattan high chair lets the youngest guest sit at the same height as everyone else, and we carry lower tables and chairs for ages one to three. Tell us the children's ages when you ask for a quote and we'll suggest the right mix.
Can the tables match our Hanukkah or Thanksgiving colors?
Most of our tables can be customized on request in a color to match your theme, such as blue and white for Hanukkah or warm neutrals for Thanksgiving, and the Ghost Chairs come clear or in other colors on request. Ask early, because custom colors need lead time.
Do you decorate or style the party?
No. We're not the party planners. We rent the kids' tables, chairs, high chairs and dessert carts, and we deliver, set them up and pick them up. Place settings, decor and food come from your family or your planner.
