Luxury Kids' Party Rentals on Long Island
From the Five Towns to Sands Point to the Suffolk backyards, Long Island celebrates beautifully — and its littlest guests deserve seating to match. Boutique children's tables, chairs and dessert carts, delivered white-glove across Nassau and Suffolk.

Some of the most beautiful children's parties we set anywhere happen on Long Island. The island hosts at a scale New Jersey rarely matches — guest lists in the dozens, florists and planners on speed dial, celebrations that fill a lawn from hedge to hedge. And week after week, families from Lawrence to Medford call us across the bridges for the one thing the island's party vendors don't carry: children's furniture beautiful enough for the event.
This page is our love letter to Long Island — where we deliver, how the island's parties differ, and the planning notes we've collected setting tables from the Five Towns to the middle of Suffolk.
Lawrence & the Five Towns
Lawrence, Cedarhurst, Woodmere, Hewlett, Inwood — the Five Towns celebrate constantly and celebrate at home: first birthdays, upsherins, baby namings, kiddush-style gatherings where three generations fill the dining room and a dozen small cousins need somewhere elegant to land. Our Atelier Rattan collection is the one Five Towns families request by name — woven natural chairs that sit as comfortably beside fine china and silver as they do at a backyard birthday. Sunday afternoons book first here; if your date is fixed, reserve the furniture before anything else.
Sands Point, Port Washington & the Gold Coast
Estate country asks the most of party furniture, and it's where ours is happiest. Sands Point, Port Washington, Manhasset, Great Neck, Roslyn, Old Westbury — these are events with planners, tents and photographers, where the children's table is part of the design brief, not an afterthought. We work the way estates work: coordinated arrival windows, service entrances, setup complete and photographed-ready before the first guest, collection on your schedule. A long low table in rattan with linen and place cards from our Paper Atelier holds its own beside any designer's tablescape.
Medford & central Suffolk
Farther east, Medford, Patchogue, Holbrook and Ronkonkoma throw the island's warmest backyard parties — big yards, big families, bounce house in the corner and a barbecue that runs all afternoon. This is where kid-height furniture earns its keep in comfort as much as style: children settle at a table built to their size and actually stay seated for pizza and cake. Suffolk is a fast-growing part of our calendar, and yes — we really do come out to Medford.
The one seating mistake Long Island hosts make
Island backyards are big enough to swallow furniture, so hosts order one enormous children's table because the space allows it. That's the mistake. A twenty-foot kids' table looks dramatic and seats badly: children shout across it, the ends feel exiled, and no adult can reach the middle. Clusters beat length. Three tables of six, spaced around the yard, will always run better than one table of eighteen.
Sizing a Long Island party
| Children | What works | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 6–8 | One table, one grouping | Everyone can see everyone. The classic setup. |
| 10–14 | Two tables, set at an angle | Kids self-sort by age; the angle keeps it one party, not two. |
| 15–24 | Three groupings + a dessert cart | Natural circulation; adults can reach every child. |
| 25+ | Clusters plus a second activity zone | Past 25, seating alone won't hold them — they need somewhere to go. |
The full math, including chairs for the adults, is in how many kids' chairs and tables you need.
Long Island specifics
- Grass, turf and sloping lawns. All fine — tell us if the lawn slopes and we level the tables on arrival, rather than leaving you a rolling-cupcake situation.
- Tents and planners. We're a children's-furniture specialist and slot in happily alongside your tent company, caterer or planner. Tent up before our window, and we take it from there.
- Pool parties. Seating on the far side from the water play; dessert cart out of splash range. Obvious, routinely forgotten.
- Beach and park parties. Town beaches and county parks have their own permit and equipment rules — check before booking furniture, and tell us the vehicle access point.
- Bar and bat mitzvah kids' tables. A growing part of our island work — see the kids' table at weddings and events.

May, June, September and October Saturdays are Long Island's peak and go early — treat six to eight weeks out as normal, not cautious. Midweek and winter dates usually confirm within two to three weeks. New rattan pieces (the Mariposa chair and kid-height rattan tables) arrive this fall — reserve ahead.
What's included, always
Delivery, setup and collection — we position and level the tables, arrange the chairs, style the cart, and come back for everything after the party. Kid-height furniture scaled so children climb in unaided and their feet reach the floor. Three collections — Essential, Classic and Atelier Rattan — so the furniture matches your palette rather than fighting it. Start with Get a Quote and we'll confirm your Long Island date the same day.
