Parties in Essex and Morris County get the same boutique setup: kid-height tables, designer children's chairs, high chairs and dessert carts, delivered, set up before your guests arrive and picked up the next day. We bring them to homes, backyards, apartments and venues from Montclair, Maplewood, Millburn, Short Hills and Livingston to Morristown, Madison, Chatham, Randolph and Mendham. We're not the party planners — we rent the kids' tables, chairs and dessert carts, and your planner (or you) brings the theme. See the kids' table and chair rentals page for everything we rent, or the first birthday party rentals page for a first-birthday set with a high chair.
Halloween party weekend in Essex & Morris: October 24–25
The weekend before Halloween is the big kids' party weekend of the fall, and this year Halloween itself falls on a Saturday (October 31), so daytime parties work on both weekends. A kid-height table turns a costume party into something the little ones can actually sit at: snacks, cupcakes and a craft at elbow height instead of on laps. See Halloween party rentals in NJ for the full set, and the not-scary Halloween kids' table for toddlers. We're open 365 days and already run regular North Jersey routes, so a late date is worth asking about — and Hold My Date locks your weekend while you finish the guest list.
An October craft table for kids: seat them, then hand out the beads
“October crafts for kids” is one of the fastest-rising party searches right now, and the craft works best when every child has a seat. Set a mini pumpkin painting station or a pony bead bracelet station on a kid-height table, give one tray to every two children, and the mess stays on the table. You bring the pumpkins and paint; we bring the table and chairs, set them up and take them away the next day.
NJEA weekend parties: November 5–8
Most New Jersey public schools close Thursday and Friday, November 5–6, for the NJEA convention, which makes a four-day weekend for birthdays and family get-togethers. Weekday delivery is easy because we work every day of the year. More ideas in long-weekend birthday parties in NJ.
