Kids' Table & Chair Rentals in Rockland County, NY

Mini Chairs Atelier · Updated October 2026

Rockland is the county of big back decks, village halls and houses full of cousins on a Sunday. Here's how families from New City to Suffern give the children a table of their own — what to rent, how many, and how the delivery works.

Cross the Tappan Zee from Westchester and the parties change character. Rockland County is houses with real backyards and long back decks, village greens in Nyack and Piermont, the big shul-and-school communities of Monsey, Wesley Hills and Spring Valley, and family weekends where every cousin within forty minutes shows up. Whatever the occasion — a first birthday in New City, an upsherin in Monsey, a Sunday barbecue birthday in Pearl River — the question that decides whether the grown-ups get to sit down is the same one: where do the children sit?

Mini Chairs Atelier rents kid-height tables, children's chairs, high chairs and dessert carts, and we deliver, set up and collect them ourselves across Rockland County. This page is the practical guide: what to rent, how many, how the booking works, and the local details worth knowing before you hold your date.

What you can rent

The full rundown of sizes and collections is on our kids' table and chair rentals page. For a first birthday specifically, start with first birthday party rentals.

Three Rockland parties we set up every month

The back-deck birthday in New City, Nanuet or Pearl River

Most Rockland homes have the thing New York City families dream about: a level back deck or patio with room for a real children's table. The layout that works best is one long kid-height table along the house side of the deck, chairs on both sides, with the dessert cart at the end nearest the kitchen door. Put the kids within sight of the adults' table rather than at the far end of the lawn and the party stays one party. Our backyard birthday guide and rain plan cover the rest — Rockland weather turns fast off the river, so decide now which pieces come inside.

The simcha in Monsey, Wesley Hills or Spring Valley

Upsherins, brisim, kiddushes, chol hamoed open houses, a Chanukah party for the cousins — the Monsey area hosts more family gatherings per square mile than anywhere else we deliver. The common thread is a lot of children and a room that is already full of adult tables. A kid-height table along one wall seats eight to ten children in the space two adult place settings would take, and it stops the youngest guests from drifting under the grown-ups' table. We deliver before Shabbos or yom tov and collect after, so the children's set is there for every meal of a long weekend; tell us your dates and we'll plan the pickup around them. Our yom tov kids' table guide has the layouts we use most.

The village-hall or restaurant party in Nyack, Piermont or Suffern

Nyack's riverfront restaurants, the village halls and the party rooms along Route 59 are wonderful for a bigger first birthday or a milestone lunch, and almost none of them own genuinely child-sized furniture. We're a chairs-only specialist: we bring the children's table and chairs, set them up in your rental window and work alongside whichever caterer or venue coordinator you've booked. Put us in touch with the venue directly and we'll handle the load-in timing and any certificate of insurance without adding to your inbox.

How many chairs and tables to book

Count the children who will actually sit, not the families invited, then add two seats — a Rockland invitation always pulls in a neighbor's kids. A typical New City birthday of 12 to 16 children needs two kid-height tables and 14 to 18 chairs; a cousins' table at a simcha often runs to 20. Mix heights if your guest list spans ages: toddlers need the lowest seats, school-age children the tallest kids' set. The math is in our guide to how many kids' chairs and tables you need, and the sizes by age are in kids' table and chair heights by age.

How the rental works

  1. Tell us the date, the town and the number of children. Send it through Get a Quote or text us; we confirm availability the same day.
  2. Hold your date while you finish the guest list — hold your date online and the deposit comes off your rental total.
  3. We deliver and set up before the party: tables positioned and leveled on the deck, the grass or the hall floor, chairs placed, cart in position. Your planner — or you — adds the decor.
  4. We collect everything the next day (or after yom tov). Nothing for you to fold, wipe or stack.
We're not the party planners

We rent the kids' tables, chairs, high chairs and dessert carts. The balloons, backdrop and florals are your planner's work, or yours. We're happy to set up alongside any planner, tent or catering vendor you've already booked in Rockland.

Delivery notes for Rockland County

When to book

Spring and fall weekends book first, and the rattan collection sells out earliest. Three to four weeks is comfortable for most Rockland dates; for the week after Pesach, the Sundays in May and June, and Sukkot, book six to eight weeks out. December weekends go quickly too — see what to book now for a December party. Every rental includes delivery, full setup and next-day pickup, and we're open 365 days a year, so a Sunday-morning setup is never a problem.

How many kids' chairs do I need for a Rockland birthday?

Yes. We are a chairs-only specialist and set up the children's table and chairs alongside whichever caterer, venue or planner you have booked. We handle load-in timing and any certificate of insurance directly with the venue.
