How to Make a DIY Balloon Garland for a Kids' Party

A balloon garland is the single most transformative decoration you can add to a children's party — it turns a plain wall into a photo backdrop, frames a dessert table beautifully, and makes even a simple setup feel like a styled event. Professional installations often run $300–$600, but with an afternoon and about $40 in supplies, you can build one at home that looks remarkably close.

Step 1: Choose a palette that matches your theme

Pick one main color, one softer supporting shade, and one accent. For a blush-and-gold celebration, that might be pastel pink, cream and metallic gold. Step 2: Inflate balloons in varied sizes
