Kids' Table & Chair Rentals in Wall, Manasquan & Belmar, NJ
Three towns, one coastline and a very particular set of party problems: wind off the water, sand underfoot and streets that fill up by ten in the morning. Here is how we set the children's table at the shore.

There is a particular kind of birthday that only happens between the Manasquan Inlet and the Belmar boardwalk. It starts late morning, it runs on bagels and then on pizza, half the guests arrive on bikes, and at some point every adult ends up standing on a deck holding a paper plate while the children eat sitting on the steps. It is a wonderful party. It is also a party with nowhere for the kids to sit.
We deliver children's tables, chairs and dessert carts across Wall Township, Manasquan, Belmar, Sea Girt and Spring Lake all year, and the shore has its own rulebook. Wind, sand, narrow beach-block streets and a summer parking situation that turns a fifteen-minute unload into a forty-minute one — none of it is difficult, but all of it rewards a little planning. Here is what we have learned.

Why the children's table matters more at the shore
Shore houses are generous outdoors and tight indoors. A Manasquan beach-block rental has a deck, a small yard and a kitchen that seats six. When twelve children arrive, they go where there is room — which means the deck stairs, the driveway and the sand. A kid-height table with proper little chairs puts every child in one visible place, at their own height, with food and cake in reach, and it does it in about the footprint of two adult chairs.
It also makes the photographs. A row of rattan chairs on a weathered deck with the dune grass behind it is the picture that gets shared, and it does not happen if the children are eating on their laps. If you are working out quantities, our guide to how many chairs and tables you actually need has the formula. The shore-specific version: count the children you expect, add two for the neighbors' kids who always appear, and add two more in July and August when cousins are staying over.
Wall Township: the big-yard end of the map
Wall is the inland cousin of the three, and it plays by backyard rules rather than beach-block rules. Yards are larger, driveways are longer and our van almost always parks right where it needs to be, which keeps setup under half an hour. A few local notes:
- Lawns need leveling. Most Wall backyards slope gently toward a drainage line. We level every table on arrival, but tell us if the flattest spot is around the side of the house so we bring the setup there rather than to the obvious back patio.
- Tents change the layout. If you are renting a tent, put the children's table along an edge rather than in the center aisle. Caterers and grandparents should never have to step around small chairs.
- Shoulder season is the sweet spot. May, June, September and October Saturdays book out three to four weeks ahead. Our party-planning timeline lays out the whole sequence.
Manasquan and Belmar: beach-block logistics
The two shore towns are where the real planning pays off. Three things we plan for on every beach-block delivery:
- Parking. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, the streets south of Main Street in Manasquan and the blocks east of Ocean Avenue in Belmar are full by mid-morning. Tell us your street and we will schedule the delivery early, before the beach crowd arrives, and set up the table ready for an afternoon party.
- Wind. An ocean breeze will take a paper runner off a table in one gust. Our tables and chairs stay put; skip loose paper décor entirely and lean on anything that sits low and heavy — a garland clipped under the tabletop edge, place cards tucked inside folded napkins, a centerpiece with a base.
- Sand. Sand on a deck is not a problem for our pieces; they wipe clean in seconds. Sand in a lawn party is different — set the table on the patio or the deck rather than the softest part of the yard so the legs stay level under twelve wriggling children.
For the look, shore families overwhelmingly ask for our rattan kids' chair collection. Natural woven chairs beside weathered cedar and dune grass look like they belong there in a way bright plastic never will. For a themed birthday our Classic and Bow Metal kids' chairs carry color better — a Surf's Up poolside table is the obvious shore theme, and Mermaid Under the Sea is the one Belmar asks for most. See pricing and packages or real setups on our party themes page.
Fall and winter at the shore are quietly the best season
Locals know it: September and October at the shore are warm, uncrowded and easy to park in. Birthdays that would be a scramble in July are relaxed in the fall, and the light on the water at four in the afternoon is better than anything you will get in midsummer. Keep an eye on the forecast with the local forecast, our live party-day weather tool, and have an indoor fallback for the same pieces — our rain-plan guide walks through how to move a shore party inside without losing the setting. For seasonal styling, see our fall party ideas, and for the months after that, our indoor winter guide.
Hosting the family at the shore house for Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 26)? We deliver and set up the kids' table before the holiday and pick it up after the long weekend, so it's there for Friday leftovers too. Our Thanksgiving kids' table rental page has the plan, toddler tables and chairs cover the littlest cousins, and code THANKS10 takes 10% off when you book by November 30.
The Daisy Table has arrived — a hand-painted buttercream table with a white scalloped trim on a fluted pedestal base, 36 inches wide, seating five. Only two are available and it books quickly for shore dates. See it on New Arrivals.

Frequently asked questions
Do you deliver kids' party rentals to Manasquan and Belmar?
Yes — Wall, Manasquan, Belmar, Sea Girt, Spring Lake and Brielle are all inside our regular New Jersey delivery area. Every rental includes delivery, full setup and next-day pickup, so the children's table is party-ready before your guests arrive.
Can you set up on a deck, a patio or in the sand?
Decks and patios are ideal and we level the tables on arrival. We do not set up directly on loose beach sand, because the legs will not stay level under a table full of children — a deck, patio or firm lawn just behind the dune works beautifully instead.
How do you handle beach-block parking in the summer?
We schedule shore deliveries early in the morning, before the beach crowd fills the streets, and set the table ready for an afternoon party. Tell us your street when you book and we will plan the unload around it.
Will the table and chairs be okay in the wind off the water?
The furniture itself is heavy enough to stay put. It is the styling that blows away, so clip runners and garlands under the tabletop edge and skip loose paper décor at a beach-block party. We're not the party planners — we set up the tables and chairs, and the décor is yours.
How far in advance should I book a shore birthday?
Three to four weeks for most dates, and six weeks or more for a Saturday in July or August. Shoulder-season weekends in September and October have become almost as busy, and our rattan kids' chairs reserve out first.
Can you deliver a kids' table to a shore house for Thanksgiving?
Yes. We deliver and set up before Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 26, 2026) and pick up after the holiday weekend, anywhere in Wall, Manasquan, Belmar, Sea Girt, Spring Lake and Brielle. Book by November 30 with code THANKS10 for 10% off.
What do you rent for a shore birthday?
Kid-height tables, children's chairs, high chairs and dessert carts, all delivered, set up and picked up the next day. We're not the party planners — the balloons, florals and linens come from you or your planner.
Can I hold my date before the guest list is final?
Yes. Hold My Date sets your date aside while we finalize your quote, and the hold is credited toward your rental.
